Asset Manager - Transportation
We're looking for a seasoned Asset Management professional to join our team. In this key leadership position, you'll collaborate closely with the Council Transportation and Alliance Management Teams to achieve strategic objectives through effective resource management.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager - Transportation, this role will cover a significant and diverse network, comprising some 900 kilometres of roads, 75 bridges and large culverts, almost 300 retaining structures, 6,500 street lights, 340 kilometres of footpaths and cycle ways, a regional small airport with circa 8,000 aircraft movements per month.
Key responsibilities of the role includes:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Alliances and their representatives, anticipating and resolving issues, and ensuring effective customer service across the region.
- Work with council teams to educate and promote asset management principles and processes.
- Provide expert input and guidance into the management of Alliance asset information systems (e.g. RAMM), such as data quality and completeness.

What you'll bring
- Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of RAMM and/or Asset databases
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the construction or infrastructure sectors
- Extensive experience in transportation construction/maintenance or asset management
