Casual Staff Positions Available

Are you passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact in your community? We're looking for enthusiastic team members to join our Whanganui Resource Recovery Centre on a casual basis.

What You'll Do:

• Customer Service Excellence: Engage with centre users, provide recycling advice, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors
• Operations Support: Handle charging systems, manage cage changeovers, and identify contamination to maintain quality standards
• Equipment & Vehicle Operation: Safely operate equipment for handling recyclable materials
• Community Outreach: Undertake recycling collection runs for Council, schools, and other community organisations

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
• Commitment to safety protocols and following standard operating procedures
• Reliability and attention to detail
• Physical fitness for handling materials and equipment operation
• Environmental awareness and passion for waste reduction
• A full drivers license (forklift license a definite bonus!)
