If you’ve reached this stage, you’re one of our top candidates – congratulations! We’d love to know more about you by speaking with someone you’ve reported to.

When completing your application form, please nominate three people able to comment on your ability to perform the duties of the position applied for. Where possible, these should be your current or most recent Supervisors or Managers.

Employment offer and pre-employment checks:

Congratulations on making it to this stage, we’re as excited as you are!

All Council roles require that we undertake a criminal records or police check.

Your employment offer will be sent to the email address you used to apply for the role. If this has changed, please let us know so we can make sure you receive the information.

Once all relevant documents and pre-employment checks are complete, you’ll receive an email to confirm your start date.

Welcome on board, we're thrilled you'll be joining us!

Your first day:

Your manager will contact you before your first day to ensure you know where to go, what time you will be starting and let you know what to expect on your first day.

This usually involves meeting your team, being shown around the organisation and taking a look at the systems you will be using. This may look different depending on your role but ultimately we want to ensure you are supported and have the tools you need from day 1!
