Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects focused on driving organisational change that enhance organisational systems & processes and supporting policy development to enhance community services for the Whanganui community.
About the Role
This position plays a key role in the delivery of complex organisational change initiatives and co-ordinating the review of Council policies and how Council delivers key services to the community. You'll partner with key stakeholders to understand challenges, design solutions, and deliver exceptional results. Salary range for this position is $100,000 to $117,000.
What You'll Do
- Drive end-to-end project delivery from business case development through to benefits realisation
- Design and implement effective governance structures that drive project success
- Develop and execute change management strategies that ensure sustainable outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate effectively with business unit leads and project team members
- Contribute to PMO best practices
- Represent the organisation professionally in public forums and community engagements
