Solution Designer & Developer

Whanganui, New Zealand

We're seeking a skilled Solution Designer & Developer to provide in-house consultancy, analysis, and development services. You'll design data models, build applications, implement AI solutions, and manage web services that directly support our community and Council operations.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse business needs and develop data visualisations using tools like Power BI
  • Build and maintain applications, databases, and web solutions
  • Investigate emerging AI technologies for local government applications
  • Manage TechOne SaaS and Cloud solutions
  • Provide technical support and training to internal customers

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant degree with practical experience
  • Strong database development skills (SQL Server/T-SQL)
  • Web development expertise (ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework C#)
  • Business analysis experience
  • Current NZ driver's licence
  • MS Certification and TechOne SaaS Cloud migration knowledge is a definite advantage
